I meant to get up at 7:30, but sleeping in an extra half-hour really isn't too bad.

It's Monday. Monday means going to Michael's Bistro after Emerson and Thoreau class. And today we're having class outside, which is even better. I owe Gregg big-time for coming up with this Bistro-on-Mondays idea. It's a way to make Mondays good, which is truly remarkable.

I need to get my paper done. I need to get it done by noonish so I can do my E&T reading before class. I can eat Cheerios with bananas and raisins. Yum. I'm not quite awake enough to write the paper yet, but I'm just going to have to do it. I wish my @&#)*%$ coffeemaker were intact. I could definitely stand to have a couple cups of coffee before I start. I wonder if that would make my hands better or worse. Probably worse. They're shaky enough already.

I am actually pretty proud of myself for finishing rereading Macbeth before falling asleep last night. I had a headache, probably from allergies, and I was really tired, but I forced myself to stay up and finish the play. I feel like that's the first time I've really exercised willpower in weeks. I've been so weak lately. It's horrible. I hate it.

All the trees are green now. Once again I remember why I love summer in Charlottesville. Maybe I should just stay here this summer. I don't know.
